Their goal is that everything that this ensemble does is an active expression of love to the people. They also believe that music is what brings people of all backgrounds together; the experience of music combined with the message of Love is where self-purpose and meaning can be powerfully discovered. “God is love” is what their leader, Davy, quotes from 1 John 4 where he believes the core message of love is concisely packaged for the world. Davy stated, “I believe that Love can be tangibly felt and seen when we take action to love others no matter their condition with the strength and grace of what perfect Love was divinely intended to be”. That’s why the groups’ name is withLove.
MISSION
Band: To be a diverse group creating music that reveals the truth of who Love is through life, culture, and divine love world-wide.
For years, withLove has been leveraging their musical influence to serve communities locally and abroad through free concerts for the community called “The Love Sessions”. They leverage their following and influence to serve the local community no matter where they are and have been serving communities-in-need since 2013 – whether that is feeding the homeless, putting on concerts for the local mens and womens shelters, running winter clothes drives for kid shelters, or running back-to-school drives for under-served kids going back to school. In the years since, they have started their own 501c-3 charity foundation called “The Let Love R.I.S.E. Foundation” who’s mission is to “unify local organizations and volunteers to sustain positive impact on communities in-need withLove in action, locally and abroad”. Under this organization, they are able to continue their charitable work primarily in Baltimore and leave a footprint of positive change and impact wherever withLove goes in the world.
